Coláiste Íde

The boarding fees are announced each year in early summer usually and are set by the Department of Education. The annual fee can be paid in three installments; June, August and January for current students; the January payment will be taken in August in the form of a post-dated cheque. Optional Extras are available but must be paid in September.

Grants are available from the Department of Education to cover the boarding costs in certain circumstances. See Remote Areas Grants on www.education.ie for details.

Six scholarships are presently awarded annually to students entering first year who show a particular talent or proficiency in the Irish language, and in any of our traditional arts – music, song, or dance. These are decided on the School Open-Day in the year prior to admission to Coláiste Íde.
