In a boarding school environment games and leisure activities
are important in the lives of the students. Games include basketball, rounders, unihoc,
badminton, table tennis, football, athletics, tennis, table tennis and pool.
Horse Riding
All pupils can avail of Coláiste Íde's own horse riding facilities under the supervision of qualified
instructors. They follow the syllabus and take examinations in horse riding and stable management under
the auspices of The Association of Irish Riding Establishments.
Swimming
Just a short journey by mini bus from the college our pupils can enjoy the
beautiful swimming pool in the Dingle Skellig Hotel.
Other leisure activities include Irish drama, public speaking, debates, music,
table quizes and board games. You can also enjoy the spectacular beauty of the environment in the many
walks around the spacious grounds among the trees beside the sea.
