Coláiste Íde is located in Corca Dhuibhne, the West Kerry Gaeltacht on the Dingle Peninsula, in the south west
of Ireland. This area is renowned for its linguistic & cultural wealth and has been an inspiration to many
Irish writers & artists. Most famous of these are Peig Sayers, Muiris Ó Súilleabháin and Tomás Ó Criomhthain
of Blasket Island fame.
Films such as "Ryan's Daughter" and "Far and Away" where made here. You may
also have heard of Fungi - The Dingle Dolphin who resides in Dingle Harbour.

You will find us just two miles from Dingle Town on the Slea Head route. A bus service is available to facilitate students' departure and return, at
holiday break times, to Tralee and Killarney for bus and train connections. Supervised outings
to various cultural activities are provided during the year.
