Coláiste Íde is an all Irish Post-Primary 7-day Boarding school for girls situated on the shores of Dingle Bay in the heart of the West Kerry Gaeltacht. Irish is the medium of instruction and communication of students, teachers and staff. Special care is taken of the moral education and personal development of the students. Coláiste Íde girls are prepared to play their role in society as responsible, caring citizens. By guiding their development and carefully nurturing their individual talents, they are helped to respect themselves, other people and God; to respect our Irish heritage - our country, our language and our traditions. A love of learning is fostered as is the pursuit of excellence in all areas of life.

As Coláiste Íde is an all Irish Catholic boarding school, we are committed to an educational programme, which is Christian in outlook. School prayers, retreats, Mass and the Sacraments form part of our effort to assist parents in passing on the faith and Christian values to their children. The Students prepare the liturgy and music for daily and Sunday Masses.
